Built in New Jersey. NJ MVC rules checked as you go.

The calm way to run a driving school.

One schedule for your office, your instructors and your students’ families. Fewer calls, no paper logs.

Example of the office Today screen: five instructors and their lessons for Thursday, three live, a list of what needs attention, the lesson in progress and money collected this week. One lesson moves from 3:00 to 4:00. Example names.

A school office that runs itself between lessons.

Three apps on one schedule: the office, the instructor in the car and the family at home.

  • Office

    The day board

Every lesson, instructor and car for today. Book, move and cancel in one place, with the NJ rule named when one blocks.

  • Instructor app

An app for the front seat

Instructors check the car, start the lesson and log the hours in one tap. At the end: skills and a note for the family.

  • Family app

    An app families open

Next lesson, hours, the instructor’s notes and mini lessons, in English or Spanish. Free for your families.

Everyone sees the same lesson.

Move a lesson in the office and the instructor’s day and the family’s app change with it. End a lesson in the car and the hours land in the student’s record before the next pickup.

Run the day, not the spreadsheet.

  • Week schedule

Every instructor and car for the week. Conflicts and the NJ 3-hour cap show before you book.

  • A waitlist for classes

When a seat opens, the next family gets an email offer with 12 hours to confirm.

  • Courses and classes

Sell a course, run the class, take attendance and issue the certificate when it is complete.

  • Fleet

Pre-trip checks from instructors, car issues, and warnings 60, 30 and 7 days before registration or insurance runs out.

  • Permits and documents

Families upload a permit photo and the front desk checks it. The first lesson waits for age, vision and knowledge tests.

  • Your school's website

Edit it in the office and publish in one click. Packages and prices come from your settings.

Numbers an owner actually checks.

Money in this week, how full your instructors are, and lessons and hours by month. No dashboard to build.

Sample figures.

NJ rules, checked as you go.

The rule shows up where the work happens. Dualbrake names the rule once and says what to do next.

  • 3 hours behind the wheel per student per dayA 4th hour cannot be booked. A lesson that runs over is flagged for the office.
  • Under-21 permit holders: 50 practice hours, 10 at nightFamilies log drives in the family app. Dualbrake adds them up and prints the BA-CSD log.
  • Service agreement on the school's MVC-approved formFamilies sign in the family app, a guardian for students under 18. The 72-hour refund window is tracked.
  • Actual minutes taught, per lessonStart and end come from the instructor's phone. The office corrects a time only with a reason.
  • A receipt for every paymentEach payment and refund gets the next receipt number and a PDF.
  • Records kept 3 years, open to MVC inspectionOne PDF of every lesson in the dates you pick, with each correction and its reason.
  • School license, insurance and car papers kept currentWarnings at 60, 30 and 7 days before each date.

Dualbrake helps your school follow the rules. Your school stays the licensed party.

Teen data, handled like it matters.

Most of your students are 16 and 17. Their private details stay hidden until someone needs them, and every look is on record.

  • A reason for every view

Showing a full value asks why. Each view goes in the school's access log.

  • Two-step sign-in for staff

Office staff and instructors sign in with a password and a 6-digit code from their phone.

  • No ads, no ad tracking

Families book, sign and check progress on pages with no ads and no ad trackers.

  • Each app for its own people

Families open the family app, instructors the instructor app. Only your office staff open the office.

  • Texts only with consent

Reminder texts go only to people who opted in. A STOP reply turns them off.

Questions owners ask.

Something else on your mind? Write to us.

Do families or instructors install an app from a store?

No. The family app and the instructor app open in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen.

Do families pay for the app?

No. The family app is free for your students and parents.

Can families use Spanish?

Yes. Each person picks English or Spanish. The family app, the agreement and the reminders follow that choice.

Can families pay online?

Yes. Families pay by card in the family app, and the money goes to your school's own Stripe account. The office records cash and check too. Every payment gets a receipt.

Can we bring our current students?

Yes. Import them from a spreadsheet (CSV). Dualbrake checks each row and shows what it will save before it saves.

Is it only for New Jersey?

Dualbrake is made for New Jersey schools, with the NJ MVC rules built in.

See your own school on the day board.

30 minutes, with your own schedule loaded. Families never pay for the app.
